This is very much a throw back post, and writing it has definitely thrown me into gear to visit MassMOCA again.
MassMOCA is an incredible contemporary art museum in northwestern Massachusetts.
It's this exhibit — A Wall Drawing Retrospective by Sol LeWitt — in the museum that made me realize how much I do love contemporary artists.
This permanent installation is filled with color block shapes, and layered links covering the walls.
LeWitt plays with precision line creation and was actually hoping others would copy his work, so he's made sure that the patterns can be projected digitally for artists to replicate the simple lines and patterns.
All I want is for you to rush to New England to indulge in Sol LeWitt's work — so pull up a chair and a cuppa and let me show you how mesmerizing his work is!
So, which one are you going to paint onto your living room walls?
